Oh boy. Most of my clients know how much I encourage (and sometimes nag about) education and understanding the whys and hows of pain, injury, and dysfunction. You guys. This. THIS!! I can’t recommend anything more than this free course you can take from the comfort of your own couch. Eye strain is getting to be more and more common in the recent weeks. Do you always feel eye strain in your eyes? NOPE! You might have tailbone pain, sore joints, or an achy back. I’m making the best of not being able to see clients in person with continuing education this week! Z-Health Performance and RockTape are now offering online live streaming for the next few months. I went back to the basics with R-Phase (Z-Health’s first pillar of courses) Thursday and Friday, and am taking Rocktape’s beginning and advanced Fascial Movement Taping courses through tomorrow. The beginning FMT course is great for anyone new to taping and its effects on the nervous system.

Looking forward to trying a few new things when we can meet in person again!

Most of us are feeling a bit stressed and overwhelmed by recent events and thoughts of what may come. NeuroKenshō classes have been cancelled and all in-person clients scheduled through March 31 have been switched to online consultations.

Given current stressors, uncertainty, and downright boredom, I will be adding virtual pay-what-you-can half hours sessions through March 31, 2020. Can't afford it? That's okay. If you've got the need, I've got the time. We can discuss anything you'd like, but my specialties include:

🧠 Neuroplasticity and how it can work for you
👀 Vision and breathing exercises for increased visual acuity, balance, and to mitigate stress and anxiety
⚡️ Chronic pain conditions and therapeutic pain education

70-90% of all sensory input comes from your 👁👁. Having 20/20 vision doesn’t show the whole picture. If your eyes don't move and perform well, you will likely find yourself more prone to injuries, pain, fatigue, and overall decreased performance.

We can change your body's outputs (yes, that means decrease your pain) by helping your vision with lots of neat tools and exercises. Let's play!

Vision is dynamic and trainable! Nadia started her appointment at 20/23, meaning she could read a line of text at a distance of 20’, what people with “normal” vision can read from 23’ away. After a few repetitions of alternating movement and vision exercises, she finished her appointment at 20/13—she could read at 20’ what most people would have to step up to 13’ to read!

Your eyes can and should be trained just like any other part of your body. Improving your vision can change posture, breathing, pain, flexibility, mood, endurance, and energy levels!
