What a week at St. Mary’s Hospital!
Mission and Heritage Week is always a special time for us at SSM Health. It’s our chance to pause, reflect, and celebrate the incredible legacy of healing and compassion that began with our founding sisters more than 150 years ago.

This year, we packed so much into the week:
• Shared stories about the rich history that shaped our hospital
• Heard heartfelt memories from longtime and retired team members
• Honored our amazing Mission in Motion awardees and nominees
• Enjoyed some delicious sugar cookies, and shared Sister Margaret Mary’s famous recipe
• Donated healthy snacks to Lincoln Elementary, our adopt-a-school partner
• Honored the centennial of St. Vincent de Paul – Madison, a vital partner in our Mission

It was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do, and how our Mission continues to inspire every action, every day.

Emergency preparedness drills - like the mass casualty incident drill our emergency and trauma teams participated in on Monday - help our caregivers practice and improve their emergency response skills.
