Understanding "Energetic Smoke" in the Aura
A fellow Reiki Master recently asked me about a unique observation during a session: energetic smoke drifting from a healee’s field and lingering just inches from the body.
In my experience, smoke is often evidence of "burning" internal issues. Just as physical smoke is toxic, this energetic version usually signals long-held resentments finally being released. Because the smoke remained in the first layer of the aura, it indicated a deep clearing within the emotional energy body.
While Reiki is a powerful catalyst for releasing these toxins, lasting change requires addressing the underlying patterns. Without deliberate self-work, these energies can manifest again. If a healee is open to it, providing this feedback can be a vital step in their healing journey.
