Julie Valadez lost custody of her children to her abuser in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. The decision by this Judge was discriminatory. Julie was lucky. She had a lawyer who appealed the decision and it was overturned. She now is fighting for more investigation into the Judge and the courts. Most targeted parents have PTSD and because Family Court Judges are not trauma-informed, they struggle maintaining a neutral opinion of both parents.
