Did You Know? 🚑🩸

Life-threatening bleeding can turn deadly fast—often faster than help can arrive.

⏱️ EMS response times in the U.S.:
• Average: 8–12 minutes
• Urban areas: 7–10 minutes
• Rural areas: 30–45+ minutes

🩸 Severe bleeding reality:
A person can bleed out in as little as 3–5 minutes.

That means YOU are often the first—and most important—link in saving a life.

💡 What you can do:
✔ Apply firm, direct pressure
✔ Use a tourniquet if trained
✔ Call 911 immediately
✔ Stay with the person until help arrives

Early action can double or even triple survival chances.

👉 When seconds count, you can make the difference.

Spent the day at Ballard High School connecting with students at their career fair and sharing what I do through my CPR training business! 🌟

As a former school nurse at Ballard, it was so fun seeing so many familiar faces! It was also a great opportunity to show students that it’s okay to pivot your career and try something new. 👩‍⚕️🫀🫁
