We are pleased to officially welcome Dr. Mitchell Crema to our GWCC family. Many of you will recognize him, as he has been providing care in our practice while his wife, Dr. Sarah Crema, has been on maternity leave.
Dr. Mitch Crema grew up in New Hampton, Iowa—a small town nestled in the heart of northeast Iowa. His journey toward chiropractic care began after a football injury to his neck during his formative years. Through that experience, he discovered the transformative power of chiropractic—witnessing first hand its ability not only to relieve physical discomfort but also to help with anxiety, headaches, asthma, allergies, and digestive concerns.
Growing up, Dr. Mitch was a dedicated athlete, participating in wrestling, football, track, and baseball—where his passion for physical health and performance first took root. He later pursued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa—the birthplace of chiropractic—where he developed a deep appreciation for the profession and discovered a new passion for rugby.
Driven by a commitment to family wellness, Dr. Mitch is passionate about inspiring individuals and families to live healthy, proactive lives. Guided by the timeless wisdom of B.J. Palmer—“the preservation of health is easier than the cure for disease”—he strives to empower people to take charge of their well-being and embrace a lifestyle rooted in vitality and prevention.
Dr. Mitch is honored to serve the community at Global Wellness in Madrid, providing care to local residents and neighboring families. He has completed extensive training in a wide range of chiropractic techniques, allowing him to deliver customized and comprehensive care for each individual. He is certified in the Webster Technique for pregnancy, endorsed by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), and is also an active member of the ICPA. In addition, he is well-trained in Blair Upper Cervical Technique—a gentle and precise approach focused on the upper bones of the neck—as well as Gonstead, Thompson, Toggle, Diversified, Activator, and Sacral Occipital Technique. This diverse skill set enables him to meet the unique needs of every patient he serves.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Mitch enjoys spending time outdoors—hunting, fishing, and staying active in sports. He also loves road trips and adventures with his family. Whether exploring nature’s beauty or connecting with his community, Dr. Mitch remains committed to promoting holistic health and wellness, sharing hope, positivity, and the message that true health begins from within.
