Merry Christmas from SSABA 3rd annual Christmas party 🎄❤️

It is not everyday when you meet someone whose passion is making a difference, changing a life, or having the humble nature to not boast about such things. When you work in ABA, boasting and bragging is forbidden. We can’t share the achievements of our clients. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance. We go home after our shift and smile or think of ways we can improve. We do what we do because it promotes clients’ independence, feeds the soul, helps families, and so much more. We come to work, see a new skill or improvement and it gives us the motivation and drive to keep going. It is such a rewarding career. I have never held a position before where I felt truly satisfied until this.

These people are the best! Always pushing, committing to more training, and remaining humble. We had several clients graduate from ABA therapy this year and are so proud of them. ❤️

2025 has been amazing and we cannot wait to see what 2026 brings! Thank you to everyone for supporting our mission 💫

Shining Starz ABA is wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving 🍁

We hope these tips are helpful as you prepare for your family gatherings ❤️

Prime for success - explain what will happen, who will be there, and how long it might last. Show pictures of relatives or locations if your child benefits from visual supports.

Thanksgiving provides many natural reinforcers - preferred foods, time with favorite family members, and fun activities.

Encourage functional communication - requesting snacks, toys, help, labeling items.

Promote independence - setting the table, sorting, measuring, pouring, cleaning up.

Prepare for sensory needs - noise-canceling headphones, fidget toys, a calm space, weighted lap pads or blankets.

We will be closed Wednesday thru Friday for our own families but know that we wish each of you many blessings this season. ❤️

I see the facebook tags and my heart just melts. I want to say thank you to everyone for acknowledging how much ABA therapy has helped with them. Unfortunately, I cannot share to our page due to HIPAA and protection of client confidentiality. I do want to say that everything is read, shared with our team, and tears are shed for all of the accomplishments. A very heartfelt thank you is warranted and there are no words that can express our gratitude. Keep shining and trusting in the abilities of your children ⭐️ Amazing kiddos have come through our doors and we love seeing and helping them prep for their futures. ❤️✨ A big thank you to all 🩷💙⭐️

A Big thank you to MS Families for Kids and Help Me Grow for inviting us to Books, Blocks, and Balls at New Hymn MB Church in Pinola. They are a nonprofit organization that provides a multitude of services to families all across our state. These services include respite care, testing, counseling, and so much more. We made some great friends today in our community and are excited about your next event.
