Esteban "Steve" Ramirez

Esteban Ramirez, Jr. – “Cony,” “Steve,” “Pop,” “Dad” – died on December 3, 2025, after his longest, but not first, battle with cancer.

Steve’s family will miss watching him “sneak” food to every dog at every chance, the way he traced numbers in the air when he said them, pressed Levi’s, and impeccably clean maroon cars. They will remember always leaving his home with a parting gift, having someone ready to fight for them, and birthday cards with crisp handwriting. They will never forget that “Papa loves you.”

Steve was proud of his service in the United States Navy and his time aboard the USS Valley Forge during the Vietnam War. And his family wishes to thank the team at the George E Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center for treating him with honor and compassion. While every doctor and nurse was outstanding, Dr. Tashi, Elyse, Dr. Yarbrough, Dr. Mustafa, Steve, Meaghan, Gabe, Matt, Anna, and the critical care resident team especially brought Steve and his family comfort during his last days. Thank you.

Steve is survived by his children, Christine, Jason (Jessica), Amy (Eric), Jared, Brandi (Ken), Emily (Mitch); his grandchildren, Robert, Nora, Maddox, Connor, Alex, Taylor, Berkley, Jake, Hayden, Evan, Hope, Austin, Addison, Ariana, Jayne, Lillian, Ivy, Owen, Lola, and Charlotte; his former wife and enduring friend, Wendy; his siblings, Enrique (Eva), Veva, Carmen, Angie (Sergio) and his fur grandbabies, Bentley, Loki, Winston, Solo, Finn, Bethy, Emma, Enzo, and Maui.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Esteban and Dolores, and his best friend, Otis.

Those who wish to honor Steve’s memory are invited to attend his funeral services at 11:00 AM on December 11, 2025, with a viewing at 10:00 AM. Location: 11173 South Copper Point Way, South Jordan, Utah 84095.

Terrance Lee Kennell

Born October 4th,1985

Died November 30, 2025

A Beautiful Soul has left us while sleeping.

Terrance was such a nice, wonderful person to everyone he met. Always willing to help someone in need. He enjoyed riding his bikes, fixing them, gardening, fishing, going hiking, and rock hunting in the mountains. The thing he liked the most was being with his family, cooking, and visiting while eating. He really valued being together. Terrance was a pet lover. He has a Boston Terrier named Pete. Pete was his best companion.

Terrance was a master at everything he did. He was a natural and self-taught. He helped his grandmother, Connie; mother, Christine; oldest sister, Tara; and youngest sister, Tess with plumbing, flooring, landscaping, roofing, windows, and doors. He was the all-around greatest handyman with a smile. He was a very good uncle to Logan, Lily, and Laynn. He spent a lot of time with them, teaching them and having fun.

Over the past 20 years, Terrance has fought the hardest battle that anyone could ever have. He was diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia, which truly affected his whole life. He absolutely tried his best to make the best of his situation every day.

He really enjoyed the little things in life. That's what kept him happy. Terrance will be truly missed by everyone every day. He had a heart of gold.

Terrance's youngest sister Tess passed away 3 years ago, and they were really close. He missed her a lot.

Terrance is survived by his parents, Christine and Kevin Kennell; sister, Tara Alexander; nephew and nieces, Logan, Lily, and Laynn; aunts, uncles, and, cousins.

May everyone be blessed with Love.

Steven George Davies

Steven George Davies passed away on November 30, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born December 8, 1959, in Salt Lake City to Samuel Davies and Victoria Green. He married the love of his life, Brenda Pead, on January 19, 1979, in Kearns, Utah.

Steven was happiest with a rod in his hand, a mountain in front of him, or grease on his knuckles. If it involved lakes, hills, or old engines, he was in. He had a gift for bringing cars back to life and never hesitated to help anyone else keep theirs running. And when he wasn’t outdoors or elbows-deep in a motor, you could usually find him catching a nap on the couch or enjoying TV with a game of solitaire humming along on his phone.

He is survived by his children, Melissa (Joe) Conlon, Chris (Brittany) Davies, Steven Davies, Dallas (Amanda) Whittington; grandkids, McKenzie Conlon, Laney Whittington, Emma Davies, Chelsie Conlon, Jordan Conlon, Draven Davies, Hailey Davies, Taylor Davies, Teagan Davies, Asher Davies, and Jameson Whittington; and by his loyal dog, Lucy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Davies and Victoria Green; his siblings, Tim Davies and Roxanne; his daughter Keri; and most importantly, his beloved wife, Brenda.

A viewing will be held at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S., Magna, Utah, on December 5, 2025, from 11-1. Interment will follow at Pleasant Green Cemetery, 9200 W. 3500 S.

The family would like to thank Peel Funeral Home and the nursing staff at IMC Hospital for their care and compassion.

Jewel Wolfe

Our precious mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother Jewel Madge Drain Wolfe, received her heavenly wings on November 29, 2025.

Mom was born on December 20th,1934 in Hollywood, Alabama to Sherman E. and Ruby A. Drain. She married Owen L Wolfe on September 12th, 1954, but later divorced. To try to describe this beautiful soul would be like trying to win the lottery. It's nearly impossible, but Mom had a way about her that made you feel like you won the lottery every time you were around her. To say you were blessed to know her is an understatement.

Mom was a woman with many talents, but her most prideful talents were her baking, cake decorating, crocheting, knitting, and music. When you had the chance to see her do any of these things, you couldn't help but want to join in. She just had a way about her that made you feel loved, wanted, needed and most of all cared for. Of course Mom has a funny side to her as well. She loved watching the drag races and would "imitate" the famous drag racer Shirley Muldowney. That kinda rubbed off on us kids, which should explain allot.

Mom was an amazing mother not just to us kids but to all our friends as well. So many looked at her as a second mom to them, and that warmed our hearts more than anyone could ever imagine. Mom made so many deep sacrifices to keep the family nurtured and taken care of. Mom was an amazing musician with an even more amazing voice. Mom would never start her day until she read her bible. Her love and faith in Jesus is indescribable. Our mother taught us kids that through God, song and prayer, all things are possible. Our precious mother, Jewel - Heavens Gold, warm to the heart, will always be remembered for her love, and will always be loved and cherished.

Although our hearts are heavy right now, we know deep down inside that she is where she has been so anxiously waiting to be, and we know that there is a glorious celebration planned for her arrival.

Mom is survived by one brother, James W. Drain, and her children, Lee Wolfe, Jackie (Dale) Baumgaertel, Robbin (Dean) Crane, Debra (Lael) Loutensock, Raymond (Julynne) Wolfe, and Betty Jo (Scott) Allsop, as well as all her grandchildren, great grand children, and great great grandchildren.

Mom is preceded in death by her parents, brothers David Drain, Sherman N. Drain, John A. Drain, Lenvel E. Drain, Harold E. Drain, Edmond R. Drain, and Herman D. Drain, and sisters Vivian A. Pressley, and Betty J. Magera, and her precious son Lloyd E.(Darb) Wolfe.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, December 3rd from 6pm-8pm. There will be another viewing on Thursday, December 4th, 2025 from 10-10:45am and a funeral at 11am at Peel Funeral Home in Magna, Utah.

Our family would like to extend a very big thank you to our niece Becky and her husband David Burkett for all they have done to make sure our mother's journey on this earth was everything she could possible want and more.
