JoyRide Center JoyRide Center is a PATH Intl. certified equine center offering therapeutic riding, equine-assisted learning, and life skills education. (formerly NARHA).

A place where volunteers and horses make the difference. Located on 10 beautiful wooded acres between Magnolia and Tomball, JoyRide Center uses a herd of very special therapy horses and dedicated volunteers to provide therapeutic riding,m and a day habilitation program for our clients. Our mission is to help people with different abilities find more Joy in life through equine-assisted activities and therapies, along with functional/life skills education. Our vision: Believing in the unique abilities within all people, JoyRide Center strives to be a place where the impossible can become I'M POSSIBLE! Client ages range from 6 yrs olds to senior adults. Each client is part of a team which consists of the horse, instructor, and up to 3 volunteers who provide assistance by side walking or leading the horse. Our Therapeutic Riding Instructors are certified by PATH, Intl.

Our herd at JoyRide Center wants to give a big Thank You to Lone Pint Brewery for hosting a joyous Pour-it-Forward event and helping to raise $1,000! 🍻

At this time of year we reflect on the gifts we've received from our community and Lone Pint Brewery brought everyone together for a night of great drinks, food, music, and a great cause. This video captures a meaningful milestone for JoyRide Center’s PREP Day Program. Our clients gathered to celebrate their first-ever program Christmas banquet, an evening focused on connection, belonging, and shared joy.

Dressed in their best, our clients exchanged gifts, shared a meal, and spent the evening together in ways that had never been possible before.

For many of our PREP clients, opportunities like this are not easily accessible. Social experiences outside the barn can be limited, and moments of celebration in a community setting are often out of reach. Thanks to the support of Tomball Regional Health Foundation, JoyRide Center is able to create experiences that foster confidence, friendship, and real-world social engagement for the adults we serve.

We are also grateful to Graze in Tomball for generously hosting our group and helping make this evening feel welcoming and special.

Because of the support of our community and donors, cherished moments of joy like these are able to come to life.

Thank you to our partners and dedicated Program Manager, Wendy Brewer, who make moments like these possible. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into a very special night for our PREP community.
