While everyone is out looking for four-leaf clovers today, we’re celebrating the "Gold Standard" of health: a clear, functional airway. 🌈💰

In Myofunctional Therapy, we don't rely on "luck" to feel our best. We know that waking up refreshed, having the energy to be present with our families, and enjoying a quiet night's sleep are all results of intentional design.

It’s simple: if you can’t breathe through your nose, you will breathe through your mouth. When we mouth breathe at night, the airway becomes unstable, the tongue falls out of position, and the quality of sleep for the entire house suffers.

This spring, as pollen and allergens increase, "Spring Cleaning" your airway isn't a luxury—it’s a necessity for a functional home. When the nasal passages are clear, the tongue can remain suctioned to the roof of the mouth, keeping the airway open and the room quiet.

The Practical Steps to Clear the Path:

Nasal Hygiene: Use a saline spray DAILY to physically remove allergens, dust, and mucus that cause inflammation and blockage. YOU HAVE TO GET ALL THE SNOT OUT DURING THIS STEP. (Sorry to yell but it really is important)

Maintain the Seal: Once the nasal passage is clear, consciously practice keeping your lips together. This reinforces the neuromuscular habit of nasal breathing.

Observe the Results: Notice the difference in your morning. A clear nose leads to a hydrated mouth, a stable heart rate during sleep, and a more patient household.
