💊 A Few Helpful Pharmacy Reminders as We Head Into the New Year 💊
To help us serve you better, we want to share a few important things to keep in mind:
✅ Please request refills at least 48 hours in advance of pick-up. This helps reduce delays and owed medications.
✅ Some medications must be preordered, especially many brand-name medications, due to insurance reimbursement changes.
✅ Controlled medications cannot be filled early due to DEA regulations and monitoring requirements.
✅ Timely pick-up matters — medications not picked up within 10 days must be returned to stock to comply with insurance rules.
📌 Insurance reminder:
Our pharmacy staff does not control insurance deductibles, quantity limits, or “refill too soon” rejections. Please remember that insurance deductibles reset on January 1, which may affect your out-of-pocket costs or coverage.
