Now that I got your attention…haha

When first told me she was going to do 75 Hard, I was less than excited. Even though she specifically said I didn’t have to do it with her, I knew I had to do it. I knew she wanted a change for herself and I wanted to support her….but honestly, I couldn’t let her beat me (yes, we are competitive about everything).

Deep down I wanted to do it, but I didn’t think there was a chance in hell we would actually complete it. I’m about to turn 39 and the years of abuse from powerlifting and strongman were really starting affect my daily life. Also, the weight I had gained for strongman was not nearly as easy to take off as I thought it would be. My giant melon head and “power belly” were things I really wanted to shrink.

Throughout this journey I was able to get healthier and hit a weight on the scale that I haven’t see in 15 years, but more importantly it really helped strengthen me mentally. Even though I generally have a positive mindset, this has taken things to another level. It has made the daily tasks seem easier, and the things that might have previously been unattainable now seem well within reach. I know that sounds hokey but doing this has really opened my eyes to how much time I was wasting and how little I was pushing myself to do more. No matter how busy you are, there is time to do a little more of something that can improve your life physically or mentally, but you have to commit to it and make it a priority.

Visiting the 9/11 Museum with my wife was one of the most emotional experiences of my life. Seeing the massive amount of destruction, hearing people make their last phone calls to loved ones, and thinking of all the lives lost and impacted that day was just heartbreaking 💔.

The reputable supplement company Anabolic Designs has revamped one of its longer running ADLife Series products with Fiber+. The main idea behind the supplement is still much the same with the product bringing together a blend of different sources of fiber and probiotics for gut health.

The key difference with Anabolic Designs’ new version of Fiber+ compared to its older one, is that it has a more diverse fiber blend. The supplement comes with a 12.9g fiber blend of psyllium husk, Fibersol 2, and apple fiber just like the original, but with the addition of green banana powder.
