At STR, we emphasize tools like grounding techniques, structured routines, and strong support systems to help clients build sustainable skills for long-term recovery.

When someone struggles to stop using alcohol or drugs — even when they want to — it’s often about more than willpower. Both the body and mind can develop dependence in different ways, and understanding the difference can be a powerful first step toward healing.

At STR Behavioral Health, our clinical team works with individuals facing both physiological and psychological dependence every day. With the right support, recovery is possible.

Learn more about the differences — and how treatment can help — in our latest blog. ⬇️
