One of the first lessons firemen and other rescuers learn is “Life Before Property,” a phrase that means damage to property is justified in order to save lives. There are federal laws requiring the placement of fire extinguishers in restaurants, factories, and other public workplaces in case of a fire emergency. But the chances of an individual surviving a fire related emergency are significantly higher than someone surviving sudden cardiac arrest! If we spend millions of dollars every year to protect our homes, cars, and personal devices, then why do people hesitate to invest in learning how to handle medical emergencies? Sign up now!
