What you fuel your body with matters but so does the timing of when you eat and how you eat. The importance of what you absorb and not just what you digest is key. Digestion is not just what we eat. It is also where we eat, who we eat with and how it makes us feel. . Do you rush while you eat or are you in a hostile or chaotic environment? Making your food with love and to nourish your body and soul is as important as the calories in the food.
If you are mindlessly eating, you have no idea how much you are consuming. Liquid calories that are full of fat and sugars are not going to help you sleep or reach your desired wellness goals.
Having an adequate amount of protein, carbs and healthy fats are the cornerstone for your health. Understanding your Macro content
Is essential nutrients required by the body in large amounts to provide energy (calories) and support growth, metabolism, and bodily functions.
If you are looking to change your body composition, being educated on these things and the importance of exercise is crucial.
It takes more than motivation to succeed. It takes time, effort, energy, patience and consistency.

Food swaps that help you to eat less calories and don’t spike your insulin:👇🏻

Grilled or baked chicken instead of fried
Sweet potato instead of white potatoes
Adding healthy fats and fiber to your meal like olives and edamame beans
Greek yogurt instead of sour cream
