Marnie has expertise in treating eating disorders, disordered eating mood disorders including depression and anxiety, adjustment disorders, interpersonal difficulties, self esteem, trauma, grief, self harm and phase of life transitions. EMDR and Brainspotting are effective for quick resolution reprocessing of previous negative and traumatic experiences.

Sharing an upcoming educational training and fundraising event hosted by Counseling Resource Services, Inc in support of the National Alliance for Eating Disorders on Friday, January 21st.

Treating Eating Disorders and the Trauma that Lies Beneath: A Curious and Informed Approach. 3.5 CE's provided.

This is an educational fundraising event supporting the National Alliance for Eating Disorders (formerly the Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness.) Half of the proceeds from this training will benefit the National Alliance for Eating Disorders, an amazing and leading nonprofit organization dedicated to the outreach, education, early intervention, support and advocacy for all eating disorders.

Our Story

Marnie enjoys working with clients of varying ages including adolescents, young adults, adults and elders. She has experience treating eating disorders, including disordered eating, loss of control eating, mindless eating, emotional eating, and body experience difficulties. Marnie also has expertise in the treatment of trauma and PTSD, mood issues including sadness, depression and anxiety, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, performance anxiety, relationship difficulties and phase of life issues. She is an ally to members of LGBT-QPlus and other minority communities. Marnie provides consultation to EMDR therapists including those completing their ten sessions for basic training, those seeking certification and for Consultants in Training.
