I recently made this video for some girlfriends since we're all at the age of menopause and starting to have issues ranging from hot flashes to sleeplessness, mood issues and even the dreaded vaginal dryness! It's important to me that women understand their choices regarding hormone replacement therapy (HRT). There are obviously reasons to consider avoiding HRT, but every woman should know why hormones are important in their bodies, what happens when the levels decline, what the different HRT options are and how they're different (some are safer than others) and finally, women should know why it's important to decide ASAP whether or not they should start HRT. If you don't start within 6-10 years of menopause, your benefits may not be as great. I hope this video helps some women out there struggling to get information and make informed decisions.
