Malone EMS is happy to announce our newest addition to our growing agency. 11 Medic 2 is an Advanced Life Support “Fly Car” that brings life saving equipment and Medics to emergencies in Malone and to our neighbors. 11 Medic 2 is equipped with all of the Advanced Life Support medications & specialized equipment that an ambulance carries. Some of this equipment is a cardiac monitor, ventilator and a LUCAS device (automated CPR device). Due to the very high price of ambulances and our ever rising call volume, we believe that this vehicle will save on our current ambulances. We will be able to use this vehicle to respond to calls with a Medic, who can stabilize the patient until an ambulance can become available to transport the patient to the hospital. This also allows us to provide our neighbors with ALS assistance without having to respond an ambulance and crew. If you see us around town give us a wave!
