The Resilient Body Project: Flow & Restore

The lymphatic system is a quiet but essential partner in our health, supporting immune function, circulation, and the body’s natural ability to clear and recover. Unlike the cardiovascular system, it doesn’t have its own pump—it relies on movement, breath, rhythm, and gentle stimulation to flow.

When we intentionally support lymphatic circulation, we create conditions for resilience, recovery, and a greater sense of ease in the body.

It’s from this understanding of rhythm, support, and gentle care that Flow & Restore emerged—a 4-week offering designed to provide steady, nourishing support through intentional touch, movement, and heat.

Beginning in March, EMBER & ROOT modern therapy + counseling will be joining our space at Discover Core Wellness, offering EMDR and IFS therapy to the Malone and surrounding community.

This collaboration allows for expanded, whole-person support within a calm and intentional environment.

She Got Away

This new piece now lives in my office, and it feels like vibrant life on canvas. Created by my dear friend Laura Timmons, She Got Away holds layers of meaning for me—most tenderly, the flowers within the painting are ones I once gave her, now transformed and integrated into the work itself.

This piece is the sister to Summer Sugar, another of Laura’s paintings that has quietly held space here. Together, they feel like a conversation about resilience and ease—about what moves through us, what we release, and what remains woven into who we are.

It feels deeply aligned to share my workspace with art that reflects the heart of this practice: intentional care, thoughtful movement, and support for a vibrant life. I’m grateful for art that doesn’t just decorate a space, but regulates it, reminds it, and brings it alive.

Thank you, Laura, for creating something that carries so much presence, story, and beauty.
