A Child's Light A Child’s Light provides expedited mental health support for children and adolescents, ages 2 to 18, who have experienced severe trauma.

A Child’s Light provides no-cost, expedited trauma-informed therapy for children ages 2–18 who have experienced abuse or trauma—helping the most vulnerable children heal, thrive, and reclaim their childhood. Founded in Chester County, Pennsylvania, we work closely with law enforcement, schools, and community partners to identify children in crisis and connect them quickly and compassionately with

licensed trauma therapists. Following best practices and funding both pre-licensed and licensed therapists with trauma-informed training, children receive the resources and tools they need to shift their severe trauma experiences from defining their present to becoming a part of their past. All therapy sessions are fully funded by A Child’s Light, removing barriers such as cost, long waitlists, and confusion for families already facing overwhelming challenges. Because healing from trauma isn’t just about therapy—it’s about restoring hope, trust, and a sense of safety, we exist to ensure no child carries the weight of trauma alone.
