💜 March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month 💜

Colore**al Cancer or CRC is the second deadliest cancer in the United States. Every March, National Colore**al Cancer Awareness Month spotlights this disease and inspires more people to get checked starting at age 45. 👈
Some reasons why getting checked matters:
▪️ Early-stage Colon Cancer has NO SYMPTOMS! A Colonoscopy or screening is the only way to detect it.
▪️ In 85% of cases the cancer is contained to a polyp (a small growth) and does not cause any outward symptoms
▪️ Screening can find the warning signs of colon and re**al cancer, letting doctors take action to prevent the disease.
▪️ 1 out of 10 people with colon cancer are below the age of 55. Which is why it is so important to start screening at the age of 45.
