You can love people deeply w/o losing yourself completely.👏🏻🔥
Somewhere along the way, we started believing that being available equals being faithful.
That if we say no, we’re failing.
That if we slow down, we’re lazy.
But your soul knows the truth. That tightness in your chest, that irritability, that exhaustion that sleep doesn’t fix…it’s not just tiredness, it’s overcapacity.🥺🫢
God never designed you to be everyone’s solution.
That role already belongs to Him. When you stretch beyond what He assigned, you don’t become more loving…you become depleted. And depleted people don’t love well, they survive.
Boundaries aren’t rejection. They’re protection.♥️
They protect your peace, your calling, your family, your mental space, and your relationship with God.
Saying no doesn’t mean you don’t care…it means you trust God enough to know He can handle what you can’t.🙌🏻
Sometimes the most obedient thing you can do is step back.
🙏🏻Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for caring about my heart and not just my productivity. Forgive me for the times I have taken on things You never asked me to carry. Teach me to recognize when my yes is driven by fear instead of faith. Give me wisdom to know my limits and courage to honor them. Help me trust You with the needs around me. Fill the spaces I release with Your peace. Help me remember that You are God and I am not. Guard me from burnout and quiet the guilt that rises when I choose rest. Teach me to serve from overflow, not emptiness. Lead me in balance, discernment, and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
You are not called to carry what God didn’t assign to you. Protecting your peace is not selfish, it’s stewardship.
When you guard your heart, you make room for God to lead instead of pressure to push.
