Survivor 43 winner, Mike Gabler, made history on Wednesday night after he revealed he'd be donating his entire $1 million prize to veterans. "There are people who need that money more," Gabler said moments after his win. "And I'm going to donate the entire million dollar prize, in my father's name, Robert Gabler, who was a Green Beret, to veterans in need who are recovering from psychiatric problems, PTSD, and curb the su***de epidemic."

This Thanksgiving, Feed the Fridge, a nonprofit organization that partners with local restaurants to help bring meals to people in need, is helping the community by giving 300 military families a Thanksgiving meal.

An organization is giving meals to military families and the elderly this Thanksgiving holiday. Feed the Fridge works to provide food for the hungry in the Washington, D.C., area.

On this day in history: 101 years ago today, the Tomb of Unknown Soldier was officially opened, and dedicated to the deceased U.S. service members whose remains have not been identified, at Arlington National Cemetery.

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was dedicated at Arlington National Cemetery on Nov. 11, 1921. The ceremony included a two-minute national moment of silence.

As many as one in five veterans living in America today could see new health care coverage and disability benefits under the toxic exposure legislation advanced by the Senate Thursday, but some veterans will see help sooner than others.
