When you make a donation in support of Backpacks to School you’re making an investment in the children of Westchester County.

Inflation has taken a big hit on families this summer and many are struggling to secure the supplies their children need for back to school.

CNBC reported that "an average family with children in elementary through high school plans to spend a record $890.07 on back-to-school items this year, according to a survey of more than 7,800 consumers released last month by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights and Analytics."

We still need your help. Each summer, we purchase new backpacks and new school supplies for Westchester children and teens then ask you, our supporters, to help us cover those costs. This summer, we are filling 1,500 backpacks. We have partners in the community who are filling more and, by the first day of school, we hope to distribute close to 2,000 backpacks.

With less than 4 weeks left before the school doors open,
we need to raise $25,000 for our Backpacks to School program.

By contributing $35, $100 or more you can help provide 1,500 fully stocked backpacks. Your generous contribution towards our 2023 goal of $60,000 will provide the tools students need to be active learners keeping them on their educational journey.
