Dr Maloney wants everyone to know that our videos of CHRISTMAS exemplify WESTCHESTER COUNTY'S CHRISTMAS GIFT TO CHILDREN IN NEED. All are invited to join this celebration to experience the joy of giving. Dr Maloney thanks his patients and all of his friends throughout Westchester County who have worked hard each and every year to supply thousands of local deserving children with TOYS AT CHRISTMAS.
DR.MALONEY extends HIS special thanks to
Mamaroneck Police Officer Michael DeCunzo and Officer Michael Valente who worked tirelessly all day and night long sorting out thousands of toys and helping to hand them out along with Officer Charles Dehsensky and Detective Richard Caroll
The numerous Policemen from the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department who under the direction of Detective Bernard McKnally have volunteered their time to ensure the safety of all every year as thousands of children and their families line up to greet Santa and receive their gifts every December outside of DR Maloney's office.
Westchester District Attorney John George who for years has and continues to volunteer his time overseeing undercover security measures for all during this huge event making this party safe for all.
The Village of Mamaroneck Public Works and Fire Department volunteers who under the direction of Mike Comblo along with all the Volunteer Police and Firemen from all towns throughout Westchester County make this event take place safely every year.
County Executive Senator George Latimer for dedicating his time to honor St Ritas Free Medical Clinic and all our Volunteers with numerous Proclamations and Awards.
The Village of Mamaroneck Chief of Police and
ESPECIALLY our Mayor, MAYOR OF MAMARONECK TOM MURPHY along with all of the other volunteers from all Departments from the Village of Mamaroneck who have supported and volunteered their time to contribute to this joyous event each year.
Nat Picco and his family who each year provide the decorations and lighting to make this a truly festive event with music and Santa and his helpers waving and ringing their bells for all to enjoy the spirit of Christmas.
To all the schools, churches and synagogues and all organizations throughout Westchester County that are too many to mention here, who along with Dr. Maloney’s patients have generously donated and dropped off new toys to Dr. Maloney's office every year for us to be able to supply literally thousands of needy indigent children each and every year for the last 27 years with wonderful toys at Christmas time. These are local children in need and are from families who cannot afford to purchase such gifts for their children at Christmas as most of us are able to do for our own children. WE have hundreds of children who show up to this event every year, in fact one year we literally had 3,000 children come and the least we have had show up to receive toys was about 800 children so we really depend on you, our wonderful community, to continue to support this event as you have always done and we thank you.
The joy we see on the faces of these children at this party is a reminder to all us volunteers
of the true meaning of Christmas and the "spirit of giving". All are welcome. Please join us
on Dec 21, 2018 at 7PM outside of Dr Maloney's office this year to share in the spirit of the
Holidays and if you can find it in your hearts to drop off a new unwrapped toy to Dr
Maloney's office it would be greatly appreciated.
All donations to St Rita's Free Medical Clinic are tax deductible. Donations are used to purchase toys and also medical supplies for Dr Maloney's Free Medical Clinic where patients are seen free of charge by DR Maloney and community volunteers every Friday evening (6PM) at St John's Lutheran Church, Mamaroneck. DR Maloney and all volunteers of St Rita's Free Medical Clinic and Christmas Party donate their time and receive no payment for providing these services to the community. Volunteers are always welcome. Dr Maloney asks me to extend his thanks to all his clinic volunteers, his wife Paula and especially their five sons, who since their early childhood, have made giving to those in need a priority in their lives every Holiday Season.
A special dedication goes to Dr Maloney's close friend Rabbi Bruce Cohen, who with his wife Karen, son Emil and daughter Rimma have stood side-by-side with Dr. Maloney handing toys out to thousands of children each Christmas and Holiday Season for many years.
