Adaptive sport has the power to connect communities across the globe 🌎💙

Maggie Palchak, a former Access Mammoth staff member, recently traveled to Nepal as part of an adaptive sports exchange centered on “Diplomacy Through Sports.” While she is no longer on staff with Access Mammoth, we’re proud of the impact she continues to make in the adaptive community.

She and her team are working to ship 20+ sport wheelchairs, adaptive bikes, and equipment to adaptive athletes and programs in Nepal.

They are just $670 away from their $8,000 goal — 92% of the way there.

Mid-season stats are here!

Since the lifts started spinning in November, we’ve facilitated 1,000+ lessons on snow and counting.

At Access Mammoth, that means 1,000+ moments of connection and time in the mountains for individuals of all ages and abilities. From first turns to personal bests, our instructors and volunteers are showing up every single day to create inclusive outdoor experiences.

Help us celebrate Aria Hu 🥇

She earned 1st place at the USASA Slopestyle competition in the 7 to 8 age group and we could not be more excited for her.

Cassidy and Taylor are two of the 23 participants that recently joined us at our Operation Mountain Freedom Military Camp, and their experience speaks to the power of community.

Moments like this remind us that access is about more than adaptive sports. It’s about creating space for connection, trust, and support that lasts beyond camp.

We’re deeply grateful to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for making this camp possible at no cost to military members.

That’s a wrap on Operation Mountain Freedom Military Camp! 🇺🇸🏔️

This week, we were honored to welcome 23 military members and their guests for a week full of mountain sports, connection, and community.

Access Mammoth has been welcoming military members to the mountain since 2007, and none of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers, partners, and supporters who show up year after year. Thank you for making this week so meaningful.

🎉 Congratulations, Kate Delson! 🎉

We are so proud to celebrate Kate, who has officially qualified for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games in Para Snowboard.

Kate’s journey in adaptive snow sports began at a very young age skiing with Access Mammoth. She started skiing at just 3 years old and later discovered snowboarding around age 7, quickly falling in love with the sport. With the encouragement of volunteers and instructors, she continued to grow and pursue her passion on the mountain.

Kate wanted to give a special shoutout to Randee, her main ski instructor from ages 3–7, whose guidance helped lay the foundation for where she is today.

The entire Access Mammoth community is cheering you on, Kate! We cannot wait to watch you take the world stage in Milano Cortina 2026.
