Equip costumes with reflective tape or glow sticks to ensure visibility. Remind kids to carry a flashlight and to stick to well-lit areas to stay safe while trick-or-treating.

Choose Safe Costumes 🧛‍♂️
Make sure costumes fit properly to avoid tripping. Avoid masks that obstruct vision; opt for non-toxic face paint instead.

Inspect Treats Before Eating 🍬
Wait until you're home to check all candy and treats. Discard anything that looks tampered with or isn’t securely wrapped.

Urgent care or walk-in clinics help fill a vital gap when you become sick or injured, but your regular provider is not available and you can’t wait for an appointment.

If your sudden illness or injury is something you would normally feel comfortable addressing with your primary care provider, then an urgent care center or walk-in clinic setting is probably more appropriate than the emergency room.
