We are so excited to give an official warm welcome to our newest Masters Level Counselor, Haley! ☺️

Huge congratulations to our Intern, Haley, who passed her NCE this week 🥳 Haley has been an intern here at inner strength since last year. With her NCE completed, Haley is now working towards her LAC.

Haley received her Bachelor’s degree in Family Science and Human Development with Minors in Psychology and Social Work from Montclair State University. Haley also holds a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling from Walden University.

Haley’s interests include all things health and wellness. In her off time, Haley enjoys spending time with loved ones. We are so excited to officially welcome her as a part-time counselor to the Inner Strength Team.
Haley offers a bright perspective to counseling and is dedicated to offering personalized care to her clients. With her determined and optimistic attitude, we have no doubt Haley will do great things ☺️

Practicing when you’re feeling good is great to build habits. But the healthy habits you create are most important in times of stress, sadness, and uncertainty.

As the seasons shift, so should our mindset 🍂

🍂Have you ever heard of the difference between functional alone time and restorative alone time?

🍂Now obviously both are important, we can’t go days or weeks without taking care of responsibilities. However, most people prioritize functional alone time rather than restorative.

🍂When was the last time you set even 30 minutes to be with yourself? To listen to your thoughts, show yourself some compassion, or even just rest without a to do list waiting for you.

🍂This is your friendly reminder that as the days shorter, restorative alone time becomes crucial for us. You are allowed to be a human being, and not a human doing. Make your self a priority and add restorative alone time to your to do list this week. Even 10 minutes could make a difference ☺️
