I hit my 300 DaVinci cases today only in SOMC and totally 1264.Time passes quick. I am doing robotics since 2015.
I am very proud of our OR team and administration for the continuous support.

The day has come.Our second XI has arrived.This will improve time for scheduling robotic cases and improve for emergent cases 24/7 access.

Today on Sunday is ,, just a gallbladder,,
Severe acute cholecystitis with completely fused back wall. Traditionally this is an open surgery but since Robot is available 24/7 I accomplished surgery without conversion to open surgery. Thanks to Southern Ocean Medical Center and OR team for making the Robot available on weekends and off- hours for patient benefit.

Congratulations to Community Medical Center’s Sergey Grachev, MD, surgeon, who completed his 1000th da Vinci robotic surgery case last week! Dr. Grachev was congratulated by the OR team on this impressive accomplishment, which only three percent of all da Vinci trained surgeons have achieved, according to Intuitive.

Dr. Grachev is part of the Ocean County’s longest-running hospital robotic surgery programs at CMC, the first of its kind in the region. CMC is also the only hospital in Ocean County recognized as a “Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery” by the Surgical Review Corporation Corporation, and was the third in the state to earn the designation.
