When life feels overwhelming, we often turn inward. But sometimes, healing begins when we reach outward.

This holiday season, Exceptional Wellness Counseling is embracing the spirit of connection and giving. As Allison Rosa, LAC, beautifully shares in her recent blog, “Sometimes the quickest way to lift our own spirits is to lift someone else’s.”

Federal employees and SNAP recipients in our community are struggling to put food on the table, and new families coming to Lunch Break are up 34% from last month.

Lunch Break is working tirelessly to meet the growing need, but they can’t do it alone. Your donation can help feed local families and bring hope where it’s needed most. ❤️

For Angelica, art has always been more than creativity. It’s a way to pause, breathe, and reconnect with herself.

Through years of creating, Angelica discovered how art can quiet the mind, becoming a meditative process where emotions flow freely without needing words. Her own love for art led her to explore its deeper impact.

Now, through art therapy, she helps clients of all ages find grounding and healing.

Art therapy is for anyone seeking a new way to process emotions, find clarity, and reconnect with themselves.

✨ This holiday season, Exceptional Wellness Counseling is proud to support The Village Foster Closet of Holmdel — a local nonprofit making a powerful difference for foster families, kinship caregivers, and teens who have aged out of the foster care system. 💙

What started as a small dream has grown into a compassionate mission: providing clothing, shoes, hygiene items, school supplies, bedding, and emotional support to families welcoming children into their homes — often with little notice. The Village Foster Closet ensures they know, “You’re not alone.”

Families and caregivers are welcome to return anytime they need help — because this organization truly believes in being part of their ongoing village. They also extend care to kinship families and young adults transitioning out of foster care, offering essentials that bring both comfort and dignity.
