My Postpartum consists of consuming my placenta. Yup, you read that correctly. I am consuming my placenta via capsules & I feel great!
Animals are tuned into the post-birth benefits of the placenta so why not us? During pregnancy, your placenta serves as a vital nutrient transport system for your growing baby. Your placenta contains prostaglandin, which helps the uterus to contract after birth, the “love hormone” oxytocin & CRH (corticotropin-releasing hormone), which helps with stress reduction.
I didn’t consume my placenta but I definitely wish I did! After taking the first pill last week, the cramping of my uterus felt less, I had more energy & overall felt calmer.
