Big moment for this group 👏

Congrats to Jae Lee, Alejandra Garcia, Fallon Weisbrodt, and Angela Ansah, our New Graduate Nurse Residents! They have officially completed the year as nurse residents and are stepping into ED staff roles!

Over the past year, they’ve shown up, stepped up, and made their marks as amazing members of the UVACH Community.

Celebrating one of our own💙🧡

Congratulations to our Culpeper team member, Dawn Brown, RN, on receiving a DAISY Award, a recognition given to nurses who go above and beyond in both skill and compassion.

Moments like this reflect the kind of care our teams bring to their patients every single day.

We are so proud to have nurses like this at UVA Community Health.

Congratulations to Dawn Brown, RN, on receiving the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses from the DAISY Foundation! 🌼

A team member scheduled for surgery met Dawn during a pre-op visit, where her warmth and reassurance helped ease his nerves. After jokingly requesting “VIP treatment” with chocolate pudding post-surgery, he woke up to find she had actually made it happen! She brought in her well-known “Dirt and Worms” pudding on her day off.

This thoughtful, above-and-beyond gesture turned a stressful experience into a memorable one and reflects the compassion and dedication Dawn brings to every patient. 💙
