•Eye turns, lazy eye or amblyopia.
•Vision problems from trauma, neurological dysfunction or chronic disease
•Low Vision: Blurry Edges and Visual Holes

About Our Testing:
Drs. Tod Davis and Amy Carlyle examine key developmental vision areas that may interfere with learning and body coordination such as eye teaming and tracking, visual guidance of body movement, eye-hand
abilities, visualization, and visual memory. Optometric Vision Therapy:
Office and home procedures prescribed by Drs. Tod Davis and Amy Carlyle to develop vision processing and promote healthy vision. 12 months of treatment is common, but the length of time depends on the vision problems. Lens Therapy:
Specialized glasses prescribed to eliminate discomfort during reading, desk work and computer use. May contain bifocals, prisms,
or special tints. Low Vision Services:
Vision loss that cannot be corrected by ordinary glasses, contact lenses, medication or surgery is called low vision. If you have low vision, it is important to maximize the vision you have, and Dr. Amy Carlyle can help you do just that. Infant-See Program:
Even if no eye or vision problems are apparent, the American Optometric Association recommends scheduling your baby's first eye assessment at 6 months. First time exam for any child of 1 year or younger is FREE. Speakers Program:
Presentations on vision development for professional in-services and parent groups.

Having a hard time solving Magic Eye puzzles? Try this trick and you might be more successful next time! Relax your eye muscles and focus your eyes beyond the eye puzzle image. Since your eyes will naturally want to focus on the image in front of you, this technique requires concentration and is often difficult to master. If you happen to be looking at a framed eye puzzle or one printed on glossy paper, you might want to try the reflection technique. With light shining on the glossy image, focus your eyes on a glare. This will achieve the same relaxation of the eye muscles to allow you to see the hidden 3D image or message.

So have a good look at this picture, how many animals do you think there are?

Is your child between the ages of 6 and 12 years? Are they having trouble seeing the board or other far objects? It could be (nearsightedness). And it's not just an inconvenience. Between the ages of 6 and 12, myopia can often progress very quickly. This rapid progression has been associated with an increased risk of dangerous eye diseases later in life. Consider myopia management to slow down your child's myopia progression and help your child preserve vision and eye health.

Did you know that 1 in 4 children struggle with reading and learning because of undiagnosed vision conditions?

Even if your child passed their school vision screening with "20/20" vision, they could still be missing essential visual skills like tracking, teaming, and focusing. If the eyes don't work together, the brain has to work twice as hard just to stay on the page.

Common signs to look for: ✅ Losing place while reading ✅ Headaches or eye strain ✅ Avoiding homework ✅ Poor reading comprehension

Don't let a hidden vision issue hold them back. A Functional Vision Exam is the only way to ensure their eyes are classroom-ready!
