Meet Tulip! This beautiful flower was brought into our care as a stray and we estimate she is around 5-7 years old. She has the sweetest smile that's sure to brighten your day. Tulip is a total nature girlie at heart. She loves going for walks and admiring all the sights and scents on the trail. Nothing's better than rolling around in crunchy leaves, according to Tulip. She's past the wild puppy stage and has the perfect balance of calm and playful energy. Based on her interactions with here, Tulip also seems to get along well with other easygoing dogs. We encourage anyone interested in Tulip to bring their resident dog for a meet-and-greet to make sure they'll be great friends. Meet Thaddeus Micah! With a name like that, you know this guy is one of a kind. Thaddeus is a young 1-year-old adorable goofball and he's looking for a loving home. His previous owner said that Thaddeus truly believes he's just one of the humans. He'll gladly join you to lounge on the couch and watch TV, go for a hike, or any adventure you can dream of. Thaddeus just wants to be part of it all. His previous owner also notes that he's great with kids of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. We are pleased to introduce JJ, our newest arrival. Although we are still learning about his personality, our veterinary team has conducted an examination on this 2 yr old guy and identified skin allergies and a heart murmur. Like all individuals, JJ requires special care and attention to thrive.

The animals below are STRAYS turned into the PWC Animal Services Center between 04/03/2026 - 04/06/2026. We post photos of stray animals brought to the Center a couple of times each week to help owners find their missing pets. This posting is a courtesy only and we will not answer questions via Facebook about animals pictured here. If you believe your pet is at the Center, please inquire directly by calling (703) 792-6465, emailing animalservices@pwcgov.org or visiting the Center.
Reminder, proof of ownership is required to redeem your pet and you should provide proof of current rabies vaccination at the time of redemption. These pictures should not be considered all-inclusive and if you have lost your pet, you should immediately contact the Center.
Lost pets may be redeemed daily as early as 8AM, including the days the Center is closed. Our hours of operation are:
Monday: CLOSED FOR BUSINESS
Tuesday-Friday: 11AM - 5PM
Saturday: 10AM - 4PM
Sunday: Noon - 4PM
