We are proud to recognize Krystle Bellomo from Case Management as the recipient of the BEE 🐝 (Being Excellent Everyday) Award.

🍯 This distinction honors team members who demonstrate exceptional dedication and compassion in support of our nursing teams.

Krystle went above and beyond when a patient arrived in the emergency department without identification and with complex needs. Through her dedication and perseverance, she contacted multiple agencies across the region, successfully identifying the patient as a missing person with high-functioning autism. Krystle’s extraordinary advocacy enabled the patient’s safe reunion with their legal guardian.

Congratulations to Catherine Vetal, RN, from our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on receiving the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses from the DAISY Foundation! 🌼

Catherine was nominated by a parent with a newborn in the NICU for her ability to alleviate the family's fears by providing helpful information while also delivering expert care to the entire family.

"I see the way she cares about each of her patients. How she speaks to each baby with love and patience, even in stressful situations. I am moved by her ability to remain calm and uplifting for each and every person she comes into contact with,” said the parent.
