The Kirtan Kriya meditation is one of the most important foundational practices of the Kundalini Yoga Tradition, as recent research has shown that this practice can improve sleep quality, reduce inflammation, anxiety, stress levels, and depression while increasing brain activity in areas associated with memory.

Research by the Alzheimer’s Research & Prevention Foundation shows Kirtan Kriya, a 12-minute daily meditation improves brain function, memory, and mood by boosting cerebral blood flow, increasing connectivity in memory centers like the hippocampus, and even affecting telomeres, the aging-related parts of our DNA, suggesting potential in Alzheimer’s prevention. Studies found that Kirtan Kriya significantly improved memory and executive function, and reduced depression, anxiety, and stress in at-risk adults and caregivers, potentially offering a simple, cost-effective intervention.

Before crossing the threshold into a new year, experience a meditation developed to support successfully surrendering what you wish to leave behind, and allow the deep resonance of the gongs to clear pathways for joyful and fresh new energies and experiences to manifest in the new year.
This experience combines Yoga Nidra style guided meditation with the deep otherworldly sound of gongs played intentionally and gently to enable you to sink more fully into a restorative meditative state.

The term Yoga Nidra is derived from ancient Sanskrit yogic texts on meditation, and means “yogic sleep.” During Gong Nidra, although the body is completely still, the mind is aware and active, potentially providing a powerfully peaceful meditative experience. $25
