Winter has officially begun, and we at Alpine Physical Therapy would like to support our less fortunate neighbors during this frigid season.

Together with the Stratton Community Foundation, we are collecting new and lightly worn winter outerwear that local adults and children in need can wear with comfort and dignity. Please join us by bringing your gently used or new coats/jackets, hats, scarves, gloves/mittens, snow pants, boots, base layers, and sweaters to our office during business hours through Tuesday, January 13.

Let’s spread some holiday cheer and make the season brighter by helping to keep our neighbors warm!

This holiday season, our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive will benefit the Winhall-Stratton Community Food Shelf, which provides 24/7 access to nutritious food. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to come together and support local families in need.

We are collecting non-perishable food items in cans such as meat/tuna, vegetables, hearty soups, fruit in fruit juice, cranberry sauce, and pie fillings, boxed items such as pasta, rice, mac ‘n’ cheese, stuffing, instant mashed potatoes, low-sugar cereals, oatmeal, and shelf-stable milk, and jarred items such as pasta sauces, gravy, peanut butter, and jam/jellies. Condiments (ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard) along with coffee, tea, flour, and sugar are also welcome.

Our Food Drive will run through Monday, November 24, and there are designated baskets in our waiting room for donation drop-offs during business hours.

Let’s show our neighbors that we care and share! Your donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference.

On this Veterans Day, we pause to reflect on the bravery and dedication of all who have served and all who continue to serve our great nation.

Our veteran patient, Brent Petrucelli, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era from 1969 to 1975.

To Brent and to all veterans past and present, today and every day, we thank you for your sacrifice and service.

Our office will be closed today, October 13, in honor of Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples' Day.

We are delighted to announce that Katie Brownlee has joined us this semester as our fall intern participating in our partnership with Burr and Burton Academy's Internship Program. Katie is a junior at BBA who has been an athlete her whole life playing hockey and softball. She is interested in a career in physical therapy due to the connection to sports and fitness. "In addition," as Katie says, "I want to give back and help people recover from injuries and surgeries in order to feel their best."

Welcome to Alpine Physical Therapy, Katie! We are so happy to have you!!
