Catholic Medical Center (CMC), a nonprofit regional health system, with a commitment to delivering the highest quality and most advanced healthcare to patients across New Hampshire. CMC is the home of the nationally-renowned New England Heart & Vascular Institute, rated among the top cardiovascular programs in the country. Our doctors were the first in the state to perform a mechanical heart/left ventricular assist device implant and first in New England to implant the WATCHMAN™ for atrial fibrillation. CMC was also one of the first hospitals in New Hampshire to establish a joint venture with independent medical staff members when it became a partner in the freestanding Bedford Ambulatory Surgical Center and imaging center. CMC’s birthing unit, The Mom’s Place, was the first hospital in the country to have a neonatal unit based on "couplet care.” Our nationally-accredited Breast Care Center was the first in the state to use contrast enhanced mammography and SAVI SCOUT® localization for breast surgery. Today is National Girl Scout Day - a time to celebrate the courage, confidence and character girls build through Girl Scouts.

Catholic Medical Center is proud to support mental wellness initiatives with a $25,000 gift to the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains.

Together, we're helping girls strengthen skills that support mental health and well-being, uplift one another and break down the stigma surrounding mental illness. In our inaugural year, 230 girls and their adult mentors participated in a day dedicated to mental wellness and su***de prevention.

Amy, a Labor & Delivery nurse who has been part of the CMC team for more than 20 years, recently won a brand-new 2025 Mazda3 on The Price Is Right. A longtime fan of the show, she attended a taping while visiting family in California — and heard the words every fan hopes for: ““𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧!”

She shared the unforgettable moment with one of her children, wearing a shirt that read “NH Labor and Delivery Nurse,” while her son proudly wore a shirt that read, “Her Greatest Delivery.” ❤️ When the episode aired, her CMC Mom’s Place colleagues gathered to cheer her on as she won not only a set of drums — but a car, too!

She has dedicated her career to caring for patients and supporting families during some of life’s most meaningful moments and values most the strong culture of support and the relationships she has built across departments at CMC.

Three incredible moms-to-be… and four sweet babies on the way!

All three of these amazing nurses — Elizabeth, Ali and Stephanie — work on the same unit and are expecting all around the same time. One little baby boy is arriving in April, and June will bring even more joy — including a set of TWINS!

From caring for their patients every day to getting ready to welcome their own little miracles, this season is such a special one for this unit.

We can’t wait to meet all four precious babies and celebrate these wonderful moms. Our CMC family is growing in the sweetest way! 👶💗
