3 Signs Your Nervous System Is Dysregulated

You can’t heal what you don’t notice.
So much of what we label as “stress” or “anxiety” is actually your nervous system stuck in survival mode — running on overdrive long after the storm has passed.

Your body was never meant to stay in fight, flight, or freeze — yet when life is heavy with grief, fear, or chronic pressure, it forgets how to exhale.

Here are 3 signs your nervous system may need a reset

Trouble Sleeping
Your body doesn’t rest when it doesn’t feel safe.
When your system is dysregulated, the brain stays alert even at night — scanning for threats, replaying conversations, worrying about “what if.”
CST and breathwork help calm the vagus nerve, signaling to your body: “It’s okay to rest now.”

You don’t have to earn rest. You have to teach your body that it’s safe to receive it.

Overthinking or Mental Exhaustion
When the body holds tension, the mind races to make sense of it.

Every thought you repeat — especially the quiet ones — either opens your body to safety or keeps it on guard.

Grief, anxiety, and stress often make us ask, “Why me?”

When Words Aren’t Enough, the Body Still Remembers How to Heal

Some stories can’t be spoken — they can only be felt.
That’s what grief often is: a language beyond words.

When someone lies on my table for a Craniosacral Therapy session, the body begins to tell its story — not through speech, but through subtle shifts.
A trembling breath. A tear that falls without sound. A tiny pulse beneath my hands that begins to soften.

There was this quiet moment today where everything just… aligned.
