Therapy Thursday Spotlight⭐️
Jami, our therapy director, earned her Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy while also pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Husson University in Bangor Maine. Her educational background made her uniquely sensitive to both physical recovery and mental health. Jami has proudly been part of the Manchester Center fo Rehabilitation and Healing for the past two years bringing dedication and compassion to our residents every day. It didn’t take long for her to find her home in the healthcare field. Her first job was in a rural Maine community where she was able to experience long-term care, skilled care, acute care, pediatrics, and outpatient therapy settings, and it was clear, skilled and long-term care was home. She has committed over a decade to serving this population and has no intention of changing anytime soon! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
