Wow… great news 😃👍🏻

Spreading some HOPE ☀️🌸 for our chilly Tri-State lives - There's only 5 Saturdays left until the first day of spring on March 20th, and yes, we’re already counting.

If you need motivation, here’s what we’re working toward: by April 20 in NYC, average highs are around 63–65°F, lows hover near 48–50°F, and the sun doesn’t set until about 7:40 PM. Longer days, lighter jackets, outdoor plans actually making sense again.

Winter has had us in a chokehold, but the countdown is real. Warmer temps, later sunsets, and outside season are closer than they feel. Hang in there, spring is loading ☀️😎 iHeartRadio

I see this a lot — and I’ve felt it too.

To nourish a person, animal or plant means to provide them with the food that is necessary for life, growth and good health.

Hi, I am Jess Gurney and this is my page. Welcome and thank you for being a part of the Nourish MBS community.

The mission of this page is to provide you with information, ideas and events that will provide your mind, body and soul with the nourishment it needs to live better, grow and be of good health.

Through this page you will receive information about overall health and wellness, Reiki, healing with crystals, nutrition, fitness and self care tips and tricks. I will provide this via fun, daily motivational quotes, fact based articles, recommended books to read, suggested events to attend and through my Reiki and Crystal Healing sessions offered in Manchester, NH. Lastly and probably most importantly, you will have a community of people who are looking for nourishment JUST LIKE YOU AND ME that you can share with, talk to and gain valuable insight from. We are not alone and we are stronger together.

In today’s fast paced and stressed out world, lets face it, we are all running on empty. We’re working crazy hours, trying our best to take care of our children, our parents, friends, coworkers and maybe ourselves. The pressure is constantly on, we often feel overwhelmed and too busy to stop and re-calibrate. We stress and worry so much that we often aren’t eating or sleeping correctly, some or most are turning to alcohol, coffee and recreational or prescription drugs to soothe us and usually, we aren’t making time to care for number one. Top worries from the 2019 “Stress in America” survey show that we are worrying about a myriad of things all the time. Finances and careers being among the top of the list, followed by climate change, mass shootings, healthcare. politics and so much more.

While there is such a thing as healthy stress, that isn’t what most of us are experiencing these days. We are finding ourselves with dangerously chronic levels of stress. Did you know that chronic stress disrupts nearly every system in our bodies? It can suppress the immune system, upset digestive and reproductive systems, increase risk of heart attacks and strokes and so much more. Anxiety, depression and mental illness are at an all time high. It is a recipe for certain disaster. When we find ourselves in this burnt out state, not only do we ourselves suffer the consequences, our children, family and friends suffer too. We’ve all heard the saying “You cannot pour from an empty cup”. My hope is to provide you with some nourishment so that you can learn ways to fill your cup and keep it as full as possible.

Most of the time we can’t immediately change our situation or remove all of the stresses in our lives, this just isn’t practical or possible. But if we can just take a minute to step back, evaluate and dedicate some time to taking care of ourselves, truly, we can find peace in the chaos.

I hope that this page helps you in one way or another. My purpose on this earth is to help guide others on their journey to happiness. I promise you that this is only the beginning.
