A message from Dr. Marcie
Hello First Light Family!
It's been wonderful to meet so many of you in my first month here with Kelly. I'm so grateful for how you've all welcomed me with open arms and kind words. I wanted to send an email out so those of you I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet can get to know me a little better!
I was raised in Berwick and Lebanon and graduated from Noble High School in 2016. I then went to Springfield College where I took my pre-graduate courses through the Exercise Science Department. In Fall of 2019, I entered New York Chiropractic College to begin my chiropractic journey with a focus in prenatal and pediatric care. While at NYCC, I took courses and went to seminars solely focused on treating and caring for pregnant and pediatric patients. I have learned that no matter how picture-perfect pregnancy and the birth process may go, it can have problematic effects on both mom and baby. I've also learned how important chiropractic can be for post-partum, as well as the baby-growing and kid-growing process - it's become my passion!
I love treating people of all ages. Entering the world as a chiropractor, I had one goal in my mind, and it was to help as many people as I can with gentle, holistic care. Dr. Kelly has shared with me that although she admits she has hasn't had a pediatric focus in her practice, she has always known the crucial role chiropractic plays in all stages of life. Pediatric care doesn't just keep kids healthy, it can help them avoid issues later in life. I'm lucky because I've had chiropractic care since I was a kid!
