On Saturday night, our community had the chance to show up in a big way thanks to the generosity of Chucky's Fight. They made it possible for a large group of us to attend Combat Zone 91 at the SNHU Arena by providing nearly 50 discounted tickets.

Huge respect to every fighter who stepped into that arena. The discipline, preparation, and courage it takes to walk into that ring is something most people will never fully understand. To us, anyone willing to face that kind of challenge is already a winner.

We’re grateful for organizations like Chucky’s Fight who make nights like this possible. What a great way to spend a Saturday Night!

If you have photos from the event to share, drop them in the comments below!

Mindset Monday • February 23

Start the day with intention. End it with honesty.

We don’t need perfect days.
We need honest ones.

The Big Book talks about taking a daily inventory.
Looking at where we were selfish, fearful, resentful, or dishonest
and then letting it go instead of carrying it into tomorrow.

No beating ourselves up.
No pretending everything was fine.

Just an honest look, a little accountability, and a willingness to do better the next day.

That’s how progress actually happens.
One day at a time.

Discomfort isn’t a stop sign.

If something feels uncomfortable, that doesn’t mean it’s wrong.
A lot of the time, it just means it’s new.

Comfort kept many of us stuck for a long time.
Growth usually asks us to feel a little awkward first.

And that’s okay.

Recovery is not just about overcoming challenges—it's also about rediscovering the joy in life. Experiences like the “Common Ground Concert” show that recovery can be filled with joy, laughter, and activities like concerts.

Thank you to HOPE for New Hampshire Recovery for creating an event that brought together the community through the power of music. 🎶

Special thanks to Colicchie and Kyle for courageously sharing your powerful stories and musical talents.

Mindset Monday • February 9

Consistency builds confidence.

It’s not about big, dramatic changes.
It’s about showing up… again… even when it feels boring or uncomfortable.

A simple routine can go a long way.
Keeping small promises to yourself builds self-respect.
And that adds up faster than we think.

🎉 Celebrating 4 Years Sober 🎉

Today we’re celebrating Chad and four years of consistent, intentional recovery.

Chad came into this next chapter of his life clear on what he wanted. More importantly, he made decisions that actually lined up with that vision. No shortcuts. No noise. Just action.

As one of our peer leaders, Chad really shines in the one-on-one work he does with residents. He’s thoughtful, soft-spoken, and steady. He doesn’t lead with volume or ego, he leads by example. He listens, shows up, and does the work alongside others.

Four years is built on a lot of small, right decisions made day after day. Chad is a great reminder that quiet consistency goes a long way.

Proud of you, brother. 👏💙

Today, we celebrate a milestone with one of our alumni, Jackie Beal!

Jackie is celebrating TWO years of continuous sobriety. Her dedication and determination have inspired other women in the recovery community. Despite facing many challenges over the past two years, she has remained committed to her recovery. She has embraced motherhood with strength and compassion. Her daughter is lucky to have her as a role model. Witnessing her reconnect with all of her family has been uplifting for all of us.

We’re proud of all you’ve done and grateful to be part of your journey. Congratulations, Jackie, we love you!

🧠 Mindset Monday | January 26, 2026 💙
“Discipline gives me my freedom back.”

Recovery is about direction. Even a little routine matters.

As Admiral William H. McRaven once shared, something as simple as making your bed creates a small sense of pride, a reminder that you can complete a task and move forward.

Those small actions build momentum.
They create self-worth.
They give us a quiet sense of accomplishment that adds up over time.

Structure creates breathing room.
Discipline restores confidence.
Consistency rebuilds trust with ourselves.

What simple routine helps you feel grounded or accomplished today?

🛹 One Year Sober 🛹

Celebrating Dalton and Ryan H. on one year of sobriety!

In the photos, both on skateboards representing balance, grit and focus. Dalton is a skateboarder through and through. Even after losing most of his sight, he stayed on the board. That tells you pretty much everything you need to know about how he approaches life and recovery.

Ryan knew the assignment and pulled out a throwback photo to match the theme. For anyone who knows his story, the contrast between then and now speaks for itself. No big speech needed.

Both of these guys were steady leaders at the RJM House before we got involved, and that consistency helped make the transition at Lake Ave solid from the start. They set the tone, and inspire newcomers trying to figure out what recovery can look like.

Different paths, same direction. Keep rolling.
