We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in true Irish style at Aynsley Place. Residents dressed the part in festive sweaters, headbands, and necklaces, bringing plenty of green and even more smiles to the day.
Our traditional lunch featured Irish soda bread, corned beef and cabbage, carrots, and potatoes, a meal that brought everyone together around the table. The celebration continued into social hour with Shamrock Shakes, followed by a virtual trip to Ireland as we enjoyed watching parades through the streets of Dublin.

The rhythm of Irish step dancing filled the room at Aynsley Place on Friday afternoon as talented dancers from the McGonagle School treated residents to a lively performance. Their fast footwork and incredible precision were a joy to watch.

The dancers also took time to share stories about their training, the traditions behind Irish dance, and the exciting travel involved in competing. Residents loved learning more about the dedication and passion that goes into this beautiful art form.

A very special visitor stopped by Aynsley Place this week.

Officer Turcotte and K9 Ellie from the Nashua Police Department came to spend time with our residents, and Ellie quickly stole everyone’s heart. As a comfort dog, Ellie accompanies Officer Turcotte to schools and police calls where she helps calm children during difficult situations, assists in searches for people and items, and brings a little extra joy wherever she goes.

Our residents even prepared for her visit by going shopping for toys just for Ellie. Needless to say, she approved of their choices.

We are so grateful to Officer Turcotte and K9 Ellie for taking the time to visit and for sharing the important work they do to help the City of Nashua. It was a wonderful day filled with smiles, learning, and plenty of tail wags.

We had fresh snow on the ground and warmer weather on the way, residents at The Courville at Nashua decided it might be their last chance to enjoy the snow this winter.
Bundled up with warm gloves, colorful buttons, and quickly melting snow, Lillian, Lea, and Bonnie got to work building their snowmen. There were plenty of laughs along the way, and of course a few proud photo moments with their creations before they melted away.

Last week, residents from The Courville at Bedford – Carlyle enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Orchids Gone Wild trade show. Surrounded by rows of vibrant blooms, the beauty and fragrance of the orchids created a truly unforgettable experience.

The colors, the delicate details, and the incredible variety of flowers made it a feast for the senses. It was such a special day that we are already planning to make this trip a yearly tradition for our residents.

Our team gathered for a potluck lunch where Administrator Jen recognized Employee of the Month along with several honorable mentions and a few fun superlatives. The most touching moments came from our residents, who made Shamrock lollipops and wrote personal notes thanking the staff for their kindness, support, and friendly faces each day.

Yesterday, a group of our ladies from The Courville at Bedford – Carlyle enjoyed a special outing to the Millyard Museum, and it quickly turned into more than just a trip down history lane.

While exploring the exhibits, they had a true blast from the past when they unexpectedly ran into a family friend. Stories started flowing, memories of working in the mills resurfaced, and the room filled with laughter and heartfelt reminiscing. What began as a museum visit became a meaningful walk through their own personal history.

Creativity was in full swing last week as a group of our ladies headed to “You’re Fired” for a pottery painting outing.
From picking colors to adding those final brushstrokes, the afternoon was filled with laughter, focus, and plenty of artistic flair. The second photo says it all, showcasing the beautiful finished pieces everyone proudly created. Each one is unique, just like the hands that painted it.
