Safe Sports Network Specialize in youth sports medicine, youth health education and outreach coverage for sporting events.

Advancing knowledge in musculoskeletal care and sports medicine and to promoting and providing a safe sports environment for athletes. Since its inception in 1990, Safe Sports Network has strived to promote a safer sports environment for young athletes through injury prevention, treatment, education, sporting event coverage, and our afternoon walk-in clinic. Safe Sports serves the student athletes

of the Greater Manchester, Salem, and Nashua NH areas with 12 athletic trainers who provide service under our medical director, James Vailas, MD. Services include athletic training outreach to nine local high schools, injury drop-in clinics, annual physicals and coach and community education. Through these services Safe Sports is able to continuously promote and provide a sports environment which is safer for the young athletes of southern New Hampshire.

Her dedication to the profession, commitment to patient care, and leadership in the field continue to make a meaningful impact. It’s inspiring to see her recognized on a national level, and we are grateful to have been a small part of her journey.

Congratulations to Campbell High School Booster Club Athlete Sam Morrison for being named the 2026 Winter Perseverance Athlete Award Winner!

Sam suffered a lower leg injury during the football season. Despite the setback, he stayed committed to his team on the sidelines and returned in the winter as a unified basketball helper. After completing physical therapy, Sam is ready to get back on the field for lacrosse this spring!

Kally suffered an ankle injury during basketball season but stayed dedicated to her rehab while in a walking boot. Thanks to her hard work after Christmas break, she returned to full activity in just two weeks and continued to be a key leader in her team’s success!

Congratulations to Bedford Bulldogs Athletic Booster Club Athlete Annie Zink for being named the 2026 Winter Perseverance Athlete Award Winner!

Annie battled through a preseason ankle injury, briefly returned to play, and then faced a tougher re-injury later in the season. Through it all, she showed resilience, determination, and leadership—working her way back to step on the field for senior night. Annie’s positive attitude and perseverance make her truly deserving of this award!
