When Kate () created Charhause she wanted to create a safe space to build community and connect people. Let’s just say she’s an overachiever.

Today, I hooked up the Charhause crew with LENS neurofeedback, Dr. Alyssa () got her brain boost AND supported people on site with her PT magic, and here are Kate and Dr. Alyssa playing with my toddler while I set up (and getting a VIP cupcake at 9am).

The best connections come from the most random origins…. Like being gluten intolerant 😂

When neurodivergence shows up in partnership, it’s not about “fixing” either person… it’s about understanding how each nervous system experiences safety, connection, and stress.

This continuing education workshop invites clinicians to move beyond pathologizing and into attunement: learning how to support neurodivergent couples in co-regulation, communication, and honoring difference as part of the relationship dynamic- not a barrier to it.

Approved by NASW/CT for 3 continuing education credits (LMFT, LCSW, LICSW, LPC, LMFT, and licensed psychologists).

💛Wrapping up Endometriosis Awareness Month by sharing my own story 💛

Flare ups so bad I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t stand for longer than a few minutes, heating pads in every room, pain medications just to function. Infertility… surgery… Pushing through because life doesn’t stop when you’re in pain… especially when it’s basically ALL. THE. TIME.

The only thing that actually helped- LENS neurofeedback. I used it for pain management and then became curious …

Is endometriosis connected to the nervous system?

Of course it is.

Now I get to support other Endo patients and watch the research catch up to nervous system regulation for systemic support.
