Our Manchester office is looking for additional team members!

We are looking for an energetic, hard working, patient oriented, team members to join our fast paced, medical optometry office located in Manchester, Iowa!

Responsibilities to include, but not necessarily limited to: basic phone skills and office work, greeting patients, adjusting and fitting of glasses, scheduling appointments and referrals, with additional responsibilities to include pretesting of patients and testing as directed by the doctor.

Past medical office experience is helpful, but not required. We will train the right person for the job!

Typical work week is M, W, Th 8-5, Tues 8-6:30, Friday 8-1, and one Saturday morning per month.

Benefits include paid time off, sick time, holiday pay, matching 401k contributions, and vision benefits.

Dear Advanced Eyecare Associates patients and our communities,
After several weeks of closure we are happy to announce that we will be opening our offices Monday May 11th.
We will, of course, need to take certain precautions to help ensure the health and safety of our patients, staff, and doctors:
-Anyone with fever or illness symptoms present, been around someone ill, or traveled to high risk areas in the last 2 weeks will not be allowed to enter the offices.
-We will be spreading out our appointment times to minimize the number of patients in our office at a time and ask that patients be mindful of social distancing as a courtesy to everyone in the office. Only patients with appointments will be allowed to enter the office - unless you are accompanying a young child or a patient needing special assistance. Please have other guests wait for you in the car.
-Hand sanitizing will be required upon entering and exiting the office.
-All exam rooms and equipment will be wiped down and sanitized between patients as we always have done.
-All appointments will be confirmed via a phone call to screen for general health and/or exposure to coronavirus prior to your visit.
-Please call ahead for optical appointments including adjustments or repairs so we can schedule patients appropriately to maintain appropriate social distancing guidelines.
-Doctors and staff will be wearing masks and we ask that patients wear masks as well.
We ask for your patience and understanding during these times as we all attempt to best navigate through these challenges. We look forward to serving our communities in the safest possible manner and providing excellent care to those in need.

To our wonderful patients and communities:

Due to the current national and global situation with the COVID-19 virus, the doctors at Advanced Eyecare Associates of Eastern Iowa have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our offices starting at 1:00pm Friday, March 20, 2020. This will affect both the Manchester and Vinton locations.

The health of our patients, staff, and community are of utmost importance to us, so in keeping with CDC, AOA, and AAO recommendations, we will be suspending all routine eye care until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are hoping to reopen and return to normal eye care as soon as possible and will reassess the situation weekly.

In the meantime, we will be available for emergency care on a case to case basis. If you find you are in need of emergency eye care, please call the office phone and follow the prompts to reach our on call doctor. If you need contact lenses ordered you can utilize our online store to purchase contacts that will be shipped directly to your door. For any other non-emergent issues, please feel free to leave a detailed voicemail on our office answering service, or you may also send us a message via our website and we will help you as soon as possible.

Please stay safe, stay healthy, and we hope to return to normal hours as soon as we are able to do so.
