March 11th is also known as for Problem Gambling. Many providers skip screening for problem gambling, and avoid talking about an issue that is becoming increasingly more problematic for many people. Yesterday, we screened more than 60 people, and even got some folks signed up for our Problem Gambling Group!

Special thanks to the Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling for stopping by and bringing the responsible play van!

Tomorrow is Screening Day! Gambling Disorder Screening Day is a one-day event held annually on the second Tuesday of March during Problem Gambling Awareness Month. Screening Day is intended to increase awareness of gambling harm, and educate and support providers and others to screen for Gambling Disorder in a variety of settings.
