🌼 Spring Is a Great Time to Check Your Medicine Cabinet! 🌼
As the seasons change, it’s a great time to take a few minutes and go through your medicine cabinet to make sure everything is safe, current, and ready when you need it.
Here are a few things we recommend checking:
💊 Expiration Dates – Look through both prescription and over-the-counter medications and dispose of anything that has expired.
⚠️ Emergency Medications – Be sure to check the expiration dates on EpiPens and nitroglycerin tablets. These medications are very time-sensitive and may not work properly after they expire.
🌿 Allergy Relief – Spring allergy season is here. Make sure you have antihistamines, nasal sprays, or eye drops if you typically need them.
🌡 Cold, Flu, & Fever Medicines – Check that you still have fever reducers and other basic medications on hand.
🩹 First Aid Supplies – Look through bandages, antibiotic ointment, alcohol pads, and gauze to make sure you’re stocked up.
👶 Children’s Medications – If you have little ones, make sure children’s fever reducers and dosing syringes are still good and easy to find.
🗑 Safe Disposal – If you find expired or unused medications, we can help guide you on proper disposal.
If you ever have questions about medications, expiration dates, or what you should keep in your home medicine cabinet, our pharmacy team is always happy to help. Stop by anytime! 💊
