At Mancos Chiropractic we provide chiropractic care for humans and animals. The two Doctors that run the clinic have a combined 35+ years of experience.

Dr. Clayton Sullwold and Dr. Petra Sullwold are all dually-licensed human and animal chiropractors.

Why would one get their newborn adjusted? Because birth can be traumatic… Long births, breech births, c-section or simply having someone pull on Baby‘s head during a regular birth can affect the delicate structures of the uppercervical spine which can become misaligned and directly affect the brainstem and baby‘s autonomic nervous system.

Difficulties latching, colic, being fussie, reoccurring ear infections, and a general failure to thrive can all be signs to get the little ones checked.

Chiropractic is not about treating these symptoms, however these are signs to pay attention to. Symptoms are signs that the infant’s nervous system or immune system might not be functioning at its optimum. Adjusting what’s misaligned and thereby removing any interference for nervous system flow provides the body with the possibility to self heal, self regulate, and create homeostasis.

Did you know in Austria 🇦🇹 (Dr. Petra’s birth home)…the moment December hits, the streets are filled with the scent of mulled wine 🍷 , cloves and cinnamon. Pretty much every single little town will have one or two Glühwein stands. Austrians head there usually right after work to meet friends and family, enjoy a few cups of this delicious warmth often paired with some sort of sausage or meat sandwich.

We want to recreate a bit of this atmosphere 💫 with offering some Glühwein and our favorite Austrian cookies to thank you for an incredible year here! To thank you for putting your health into our hands. It’s an honor to serve this incredible community. ❤️🙏

Dr. Clayton and the upper cervical instructors in Orlando 2025.
I wanted to share a bit about what we are up to at Mancos Chiropractic. We have recently started offering upper cervical care. We have people in Montezuma County that are suffering from debilitating conditions because they do not know about the power of the Atlas being realigned that allows the body to heal. When the top bone misaligns the brainstem cannot function and the body pays the price. This looks like…. Facial pain, MS, seizures, epilepsy, migraines, allergies and many other syndromes and diseases all neurological in nature. Come see us as we want to help those who have lost hope in healing!

Our souls are nourished and our bodies rested and we are ready to adjust and serve!!! We are deeply grateful for an incredible weekend at the Upper Cervical Lyceum. Dr Clay and I (Dr. Petra) got to share and present AND listen to some incredible speakers ourselves. 🙏🙏🙏 We tagged on a few days to store up some Vitamin D before we come home to our soon to be magical winter wonderland. We are excited to see you all. Both of us will be at the office on Friday 10/31 💫❤️

Mondays and Wednesdays are his days at Cottonwood Park

Dr. Clay will be back in the office on Friday, April 11th from 9:30-12:30 and will continue his regular hours through Tuesday, April 17th. He will add an additional date of Friday, April 25th to make up for the time he was out of the office.
